backyard planting....

My mom is in town and when she is here we usually plant something. We were inspired by the pic above and below. This is NOT my backyard.... this was a community garden where we were walking around, So, all inspired, we headed to Pikes Nursery and picked out a few things and got to work. Reese is literally running away from the smell... they just dumped a huge pile of mulch and she is trying to escape the smell. 

It was a beautiful day and the kids had a lot of fun too! ...especially Tillman. I had to use that blue nose-sucker thingy you get at the hospital to suck all the dirt out of his nose. (those who know me know that I love that thing!)
He was still sneezing dirt out later that day!!

 Reese loves watering the flowers and is a big help...maybe, just maybe everything won't die next week because of her. I'll have to post some after shots of our flowers... Thanks mom!!
