We went to see the Allman Brothers at Chastain. Chastain is one of the best venues in Atlanta to see a show, we love it. The Allman Brothers were a lot of fun and had us on our feet the whole time. All ages came out to see the show. We were a bit weary of being the youngest ones there, but nope... college and high school kids still listen to the Allman Brothers. We even saw a few kids... our first sighting was a dad with his little tyke holding him in a babybjorn. The kid had to be around 6 months. Then there was a man in front of us with his 5 year old. Must have been his weekend to have the kid and he figured he could play up the chick-magnet factor.... it worked! Then there was a 4 year old on his daddy's shoulders. Now this daddy was smart, he had big 'ol headphones for his little one's ears. That's the way to go at concerts. I wonder if they make them for 2 month olds? Widespread is coming to town in a few weeks! HA!
"Hey Reese, what was your first concert?"
"uh, Widespread Panic when they played in Atlanta. I was ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD! beat THAT!"
