A beautiful day for a hike...

Here are some pics from our day today. We went up to Amicalola Falls State Park to see the gorgeous trees on this beautiful day. We were not disappointed! The colors were so amazing. It was like an artist's canvas with the bright brushes of color sweeping over it...yellows, oranges, reds, browns, greens. I wish these pictures could show the vibrant colors more clearly. Check out the funky tree above. We went on a short hike to the top of the falls with Reese then headed to Dahlonega for a late lunch. It was a great day with the family.... I really enjoyed it.
