This has been a wonderful week back to school. I didn't know what to expect, but it has been better than expected. First of all, hubby has been soooooo great! Our mornings run so smoothly because we work together. I feel like I have a million more bags to carry to the car each morning, so it's nice that we leave together and hubby takes Reese to the car for me. The daycare has been great! I feel at ease with Reese's teachers and they stick to our schedule. Reese was wide-eyed the first few days, and now when I pick her up, she looks relaxed and pretty chill, she is even engaging with her teachers... talking and laughing with them. Her teachers have called her "very inquisitive" saying she has to check everything out before taking a nap or relaxing in a bouncy seat. That's funny, because that's the exact same thing I did when I first dropped off little Reese on her first day. And everyone at my school has been extremely welcoming, making my transition back to school a smooth one. My school is the best! I love working with such a wonderful group of people. I could not image having to return to a job that I didn't much care for. I have a nice break during lunch too that I get to leave and go nurse little Reese on most days. How great is that?! And getting back to the kids is rewarding. I just found myself laughing at them today, they are so cute and hilarious! So overall, the transition to working mother has been super! Being a working mother "is what it is" and I think I have a pretty good situation.
oh yeah... hubby had flowers delivered to me at school this week! He's not Hubby of the Year for nuthin'!
