Reese had her physical therapy appointment today. When she entered the room, she was so excited she started to run across the room and promptly tripped over the mat. Poor thing. But she was still very excited and oohed and ahhed at all the fun things in the room. The therapist observed Reese going down the slide, playing and jumping on the trampoline. She quickly assessed Reese and showed us stretches we can do with Reese to straighten out her left knee joint. She also showed us how to massage the area to reduce swelling. It was all very interesting. Reese was so good doing everything she was asked to do. "Stand on one leg, sit and stretch your legs out, hold your knee out." Reese even let the therapist touch her boo boo. The session was very informative. She doesn't have to go to PT regularly, but we will have a follow-up appointment in a month.
After the appointment we headed to the pool! I'll post more about that later! She had a blast!

i wonder if you're taking reese where we took alex. is it right across from children's healthcare? our therapist was kim. loved her!
No, not Kim, but the same place, Im sure! Reese's therapist was really nice and must be a mircle worker because now Reese doesnt let us get near her knee to stretch it! She let Ms. Rhonda do anything!! hmmmm.....
