Earth Day

Above is computer artwork drawn by four of the younger students today during computer class. Then below is a picture of some of the 6th graders working hard clearing brush from Chastain Park in Atlanta. That was our volunteer project this year. We headed down to the park this morning and cleared brush for future green space that will allow visitors to enjoy picnics, etc. I am so proud of the 6th grade class who really got down and dirty hauling away brush and laying down woodchips to make a path. They worked hard and did something for the park. I personally love this park for all it has to offer. So, I am thankful for volunteers who help out to make it even more beautiful. I feel good that we did our part today for Earth Day.
