Darling v. Diva

Reese, Reese, Reese... is wearing us out! We are thrilled with how sweet she is with Tillman. She's always asking about him, wants to hold him, is gentle with him, is his "personal paci patrol" you name it, she's all about him.

ON THE OTHER HAND, she is really testing mommy and daddy! We know there are a ton of changes she is experiencing and it's hard on her at times, however, she is crossing over that imaginary line in the sand while never looking back. Purposefully doing things she knows are wrong only to see what we will do.

It's hard, it's hard on all of us. I want to pick her up (c-section recovery says it's a no no), I want to spend more time with her, I want to just hug her when she gets so upset and throws huge temper tantrums. It's the combination of all these changes and her wanting more independence in her second year of life. It's all completely understandable, yet doesn't make it any easier!
Discipline is in full effect around these parts. So in turn, patience and love. The patience part is killing us though. Getting no sleep is not helping matters. So, I gotta go and get some rest as I type this.

I know this is a phase, but as for now, Reese is either a little darling or a rotten diva!

Hang in there. I wish I could offer more words of encouragement but we are dealing with the terrible two tantrums right now as well, we just don't have a baby in the mix, yet. Hugs to you.
