Tillman - Month 2

Month 2.... 8 weeks! Doesn't seem possible. It feels like a million years ago and just yesterday at the same time that we were in the hospital meeting Tillman for the first time. (I'm not going to try to figure that one out, it just does.)

He went to his month-two doctor appointment and he weighed a whopping 14 pounds, 12 ounces. I didn't believe the scale! Puts him in the 95th %-tile in weight. He's in the 75th %-tile in height at 23 1/2 inches. No wonder he is wearing 3-6 month clothes already!!! Hubby wonders how much he would weigh if he didn't throw everything up! HA! Which is not really funny in my world because the doctor wants me to cut out all dairy! WHAT??!! That is very hard for me, you see that's all I eat apparently. The doctor noticed that he has eczema all over his body and sounds pretty congested. She thinks that Tillman is not tolerating my milk and could be allergic. The eczema, congestion and reflux is all related. She also seems to think there is a good chance that he will develop allergies growing up. Not necessarily food allergies, but it's not out of the question. Jeeeeezzzz.
So, it's month two and it's time for me to get serious about my diet... for Tillman's sake and mine. I've been walking and feel really good to start exercising seriously. I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Oh, don't start the praise just yet, I was over my desired weight before getting pregnant. So... my goal is to loose 15 pounds.
Anyway... Tillman is really starting to "communicate" with us. Besides the angry cry when he is hungry, he is really showing us when he is happy. He coos and responds to our voices with laughter and smiles. I love it!
I think he looks so handsome in his little tie! I found it on etsy (of course) at Pickle Face Place, "little ties for your little guys." They make velcro-adjustable, washable, fashionable ties. So cute. Check out thier new website to see thier Christmas selection.
